The development of digital media has transformed dakwah communication patterns, with YouTube becoming a primary platform for disseminating religious messages, particularly to the younger generation. One channel attracting attention is Habib Ja'far's Jeda Nulis, which presents dakwah through a dialogic, moderate, and contemporary-relevant approach. This study analyzes the construction of dakwah messages in Jeda Nulis YouTube content using Teun A. van Dijk's Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) framework. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method. Data includes speech, narration, and visuals from selected videos on the Jeda Nulis channel. The analysis evaluates Van Dijk's three main dimensions: text structure (macrostructure, superstructure, and microstructure), social cognition, and social context. The findings indicate that Habib Ja'far constructs dakwah messages around themes relevant to youth, including tolerance, humanity, religious moderation, and the search for meaning in life. At the micro-level, simple diction, everyday analogies, humor, and persuasive communication build emotional closeness with the audience. Regarding social cognition, the messages reflect efforts to promote an inclusive, rational, and adaptive understanding of Islam. Finally, within the social context dimension, Jeda Nulis responds to rising polarization, intolerance, and digital information overload, serving as a space for dialogue that fosters religious literacy and mutual respect.
