It involves the integration of Judeo-Christian narratives into explanations of Quranic verses. This problem concerns both narrative validity and the transmission process of religious messages. Modern da’wah communication spreads religious information through digital media. Consequently, the public may accept unverified narratives as authentic Islamic teachings. This study analyzes Isra’iliyyat as a da’wah communication problem. It explains the transmission process within exegetical traditions and formulates verification principles for contemporary da’wah. The study employs library research with a descriptive-analytical approach. Data come from the Quran, Hadith, exegetical works, Quranic sciences literature, scholarly books on Isra’iliyyat, and journal articles on da’wah communication and digital literacy. The research analyzes sources through identification, classification, comparison, and interpretation. Literature analysis classifies Isra’iliyyat into three categories: narratives aligning with Islamic sources, narratives contradicting the Quran and Sunnah, and narratives with unverifiable authenticity. In da’wah communication, problems occur when communicators fail to clarify narrative status to the audience. Digital media expansion heightens this risk because actors produce and disseminate religious content rapidly. Therefore, da’wah communication requires source verification, textual and chain criticism (sanad and matn), source investigation (tabayyun), information status classification, and audience transparency. This study frames Isra’iliyyat as a da’wah communication issue, expanding Isra’iliyyat research from Quranic exegesis into Islamic communication studies.
Hofid Eksan Rawi, Elvi Nur Izzati, Dewi Robiatul Adawiyah Copyright (c) 2026 Hofid Eksan Rawi, Elvi Nur Izzati, Dewi Robiatul Adawiyah https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jisab.unikhams.ac.id/index.php/kpi/article/view/67 Mon, 31 Aug 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Revitalisasi Militansi Pelajar Putri: Pola Komunikasi Roda dalam Revitalisasi PAC IPPNU Kecamatan Panti Periode 2023–2025 https://jisab.unikhams.ac.id/index.php/kpi/article/view/64
Communication is a crucial element in organizational sustainability and development, including faith-based youth organizations. This study aims to analyze organizational communication patterns in the development of PAC IPPNU Panti District during the 2023–2025 period and to identify supporting and inhibiting factors. The study employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. The analysis focuses on the organization's revival after a period of inactivity, the flow of communication used, and its implications for member development and participation. The findings indicate that the dominant pattern is the wheel communication pattern, with the chairperson acting as the center of coordination and information distribution. This pattern is supported by regular meetings, WhatsApp groups, and virtual meeting platforms such as Google Meet and Zoom. Supporting factors include the use of technology, proactive leadership, a clear organizational structure, and collaborative activities. Inhibiting factors include limited access to technology, dependence on the chairperson, members' busy schedules, and limited horizontal interaction. The findings suggest that centralized communication can accelerate coordination during organizational revitalization, but it should be balanced with stronger horizontal communication and delegation of roles to foster militancy, independence, and organizational sustainability.
Kartika Bina Kasih, Mokmin Basri Copyright (c) 2026 Kartika Bina Kasih, M.Sos Kartika, Mokmin Basri https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jisab.unikhams.ac.id/index.php/kpi/article/view/64 Mon, 31 Aug 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Konstruksi Komunikasi Pedagogik Berbasis Nilai-Nilai Profetik pada Mahasiswa Program Studi PGMI sebagai Calon Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah https://jisab.unikhams.ac.id/index.php/kpi/article/view/68
This study analyzes prophetic value-based pedagogical communication among Elementary Islamic Teacher Education (PGMI) students as prospective teachers. The research examines three core areas: student interpretations of pedagogical communication, the internalization of prophetic values, and practical execution during classroom discussions. The researchers used a descriptive qualitative design. They gathered data through in-depth interviews and participant observations. A thematic process guided data reduction, categorization, and pattern interpretation. The findings demonstrate that students define pedagogical communication as a two-way educational interaction. This interaction prioritizes affective growth, character development, and relational trust over mere content delivery. Internalization of prophetic principles appears through explicit communicative behaviors. Students demonstrate qaulan sadidan through factual honesty, qaulan balighan through clear messaging, and qaulan layyinan, qaulan ma'rufan, and qaulan kariman through politeness, empathy, and respect during academic discourse. In practice, these values foster self-confidence, emotional regulation, active listening, and collaborative problem-solving. The study concludes that prophetic pedagogical communication integrates communicative skill, pedagogical awareness, and Islamic ethics. Developing this competence requires sustained practical training to convert theoretical concepts into professional teaching skills.
Zaevi Ma'rifah, Rahman Kurniawan, Nuril Kamilah Shoimmatul Faizah Copyright (c) 2026 Zaevi Ma'rifah, Rahman Kurniawan, Nuril Kamilah Shoimmatul Faizah https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jisab.unikhams.ac.id/index.php/kpi/article/view/68 Mon, 31 Aug 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Analisis Wacana Kritis Teun A Van Dijk Terhadap Pesan Dakwah Habib Ja'far Di Youtube "Jeda Nulis" https://jisab.unikhams.ac.id/index.php/kpi/article/view/65
The development of digital media has transformed dakwah communication patterns, with YouTube becoming a primary platform for disseminating religious messages, particularly to the younger generation. One channel attracting attention is Habib Ja'far's Jeda Nulis, which presents dakwah through a dialogic, moderate, and contemporary-relevant approach. This study analyzes the construction of dakwah messages in Jeda Nulis YouTube content using Teun A. van Dijk's Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) framework. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method. Data includes speech, narration, and visuals from selected videos on the Jeda Nulis channel. The analysis evaluates Van Dijk's three main dimensions: text structure (macrostructure, superstructure, and microstructure), social cognition, and social context. The findings indicate that Habib Ja'far constructs dakwah messages around themes relevant to youth, including tolerance, humanity, religious moderation, and the search for meaning in life. At the micro-level, simple diction, everyday analogies, humor, and persuasive communication build emotional closeness with the audience. Regarding social cognition, the messages reflect efforts to promote an inclusive, rational, and adaptive understanding of Islam. Finally, within the social context dimension, Jeda Nulis responds to rising polarization, intolerance, and digital information overload, serving as a space for dialogue that fosters religious literacy and mutual respect.
Riszalatul Khasanah, Sinta Ratna, Lilik Fitriyah, Siti Rohmah Hafidhotul Copyright (c) 2026 riszalatul_25 Khasanah, Sinta Ratna, Lilik Fitriyah, Siti Rohmah Hafidhotul https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jisab.unikhams.ac.id/index.php/kpi/article/view/65 Mon, 31 Aug 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Komunikasi Perlindungan Anak Di Pesantren: Perspektif Gender Dalam Partisipasi Santri Pada Sistem Pelaporan Kekerasan https://jisab.unikhams.ac.id/index.php/kpi/article/view/63
This study aims to analyze child protection communication patterns implemented in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren), examine students' participation in reporting systems and violence prevention efforts, and explore gender dynamics in students' participation within child protection systems. This study employed a qualitative approach using a case study method. The informants consisted of caregivers, administrators, and students selected purposively. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, and were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña. The findings reveal that child protection communication patterns in Islamic boarding schools are implemented through both formal and informal communication integrated into the student caregiving system. Communication occurs vertically through the organizational structure and is supported by horizontal communication among students. Students' participation in reporting systems and violence prevention activities is relatively good, particularly in socialization and educational activities. However, students' involvement in formulating child protection policies remains limited. The study also found gender dynamics in student participation, where female students tend to face barriers related to feelings of shame and concerns about social stigma, while male students are more influenced by masculinity norms and peer solidarity. In addition, the absence of a dedicated counseling room has become one of the obstacles to establishing a child-friendly reporting system. This study concludes that strengthening child protection systems in Islamic boarding schools requires the development of more open communication, increased student participation, and the provision of safe and gender-responsive reporting mechanisms
Qonitatun Nisa', Rania Khaled, Rizqy Halalan Toyyiba Copyright (c) 2026 Qonitatun Nisa', Rania Khaled, Rizqy Halalan Toyyiba https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jisab.unikhams.ac.id/index.php/kpi/article/view/63 Mon, 31 Aug 2026 00:00:00 +0000
